'sMothered' star Catherine Vigorito finds it unbearable to spend more than two hours apart from her daughter Gabriella

CLINTON, CONNECTICUT: Season 5 of the TLC show 'sMothered' will showcase a Clinton mother-daughter duo.

Gabriella and her mother, Catherine Galasso-Vigorito, are beauty pageant queens, and the daughter declined to move to college to be closer to her mother.

'sMothered' is back with partners that are closer than ever. Our first mother-in-law and son-in-law pair are so close that the mother is molding her son-in-law's teeth so they may have the same grins. 

From synchronized hobby horsing to a mother and daughter giving each other "vagacials"

There is no such thing as personal space for these two.

These six surprisingly suffocating relationships will be put to the test like never before with unfamiliar rituals, closer ties, and much more turmoil.

Catherine and Gabriella, pageant queens, are the best at "twinning."

Catherine and Gabriella are obsessed with Gabriella becoming Miss Connecticut USA, much like Catherine did in her early 20s, and they always dress alike.

With the pageant only a few weeks away, Catherine and Gabriella go into full preparation mode, doing everything they can to prepare Gabriella for the pageant.

At the same time, Gabriella's academic sisters observe and remark on everything Catherine and Gabriella do.

They drink restorative celery juice many times a day, soak in celery baths together, make matching clothes, work out--including 'Rocky-style' bleacher runs at the local high school and stroll like flamingos at the zoo.

There is no place for anything else in Gabriella's life; Catherine wants Gabriella to concentrate exclusively on her mother and pageants.

In the premiere, Gabriella reveals that she may not share a "best friend relationship" with her mother because they always hang out.

Catherine, as Gabriella reports, is a pretty hands-on mom, packing lunches for her daughters, doing their laundry, and making their beds.

Gabriella further adds that she has always lived at home since she never moved for college or went to one.

She has always been with her mom, and Catherine never seems to complain.

Gabriella is said to be a cosmetologist, model, and content creator and Catherine happens to be an inspirational author and former pageant queen, who won the Miss Connecticut title in 1988 and competed in Miss USA.

They have scheduled their routine in such a way that they can make the most of each other's free time.

Catherine talks candidly about her wonderful relationship with her daughter Gabriella, who is in her twenties.

She exclaims about the unique bond that developed as soon as Gabriella made her triumphant entry into the world.

"You know how you can kind of just look inside someone's soul and just have that connection? We had that from the day she was born, even more than my other two daughters," recalls Catherine.

"It was just something so heavenly. She was like an angel."

First, Catherine continues, she took her "mini-me" "shopping for matchings."

Gabriella makes the observation that she and her mother "always worn matching outfits," saying they had a fondness for "bougie" and "over the top" fashion.

Gabriella continues praising Catherine, calling her mother her hero with respect.

"I literally have an entire poster blown up of her in my room. I mean, she's Miss Connecticut USA. Imagine growing up and your mom being Miss Connecticut USA — those are some shoes to fill!"

Gabriella, according to Catherine, can imagine her wearing her "Miss Connecticut crown and sash any day."

Gabriella then gets to her feet, takes up the two objects, and delicately sets them on her mother.

Gabriella reveals, "When I win, she's going to come up on stage with her crown and sash," and then she mentions, in passing, Catherine's yearly custom of bringing her prized possessions to the pageant.

'sMothered's Gabriella and Catherine Vigorito's close bond causes dating issues

Gabriella claims that her mother's closeness interferes with her romantic and familial ties.

She claims that has made it difficult to pursue romantic interests since many guys are "intimated" by her tight relationship with her mother.

"When I have boyfriends, mom says we are in the 'love triangle,'" Gabriella told NeedToKnow.co.uk.

Her partners have "no idea what they're in for" after meeting the family, she says, but "this is how it is with us."

'sMothered' Season 5 airs every Tuesday on TLC at 10 pm ET.
