What did Al Roker warn about?

During Monday morning's episode of the ‘Today’ show, co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie delved into the topic of an ongoing heat wave, which has been setting new temperature records. Over the weekend, the scorching weather set more than 50 new high-temperature records. He pointed out several locations that experienced their highest temperatures ever recorded in July. He cautioned, “As you can see, it's not going away”.
