Based on author Kwame Alexander's best-selling verse novel, the Disney series titled 'The Crossover' is a sports drama television series about two brothers, Josh Bell and Jordan Bell. The two narrate the story of their entering adulthood and how they evolved as people and as sportsmen.
Author Kwame Alexander along with NBA player LeBron James, Maverick Carter, Jamal Henderson, Alexander Johnson, Damani Johnson, Hay Marcus, Bob Teitel, and George Tillman Jr will serve as executive producers for the show. The series was officially given a green light in January 2022, with SpringHill Entertainment, LeBron James' production company, joining the production.
