What day and time will 'Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King' release? And everything you need to know
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Asta and his troop of Black Bulls will be back in action as they take on a trio of foes seemingly too powerful to defeat. 'Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King' is a 2023 Netflix original Japanese animated movie by Ayataka Tanemura. Based on Yuki Tabata's 'Black Clover' manga, the movie was initially scheduled to premiere on Netflix in March 2023, but a recent update from the streaming giant revealed that the release date has been moved to later in the year.
A recent message from the Anime's official Twitter account featured a snapshot of the film's editing process, as well as a time code showing the file's complete length of exactly two hours. It is unclear whether this was the true runtime of 'Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King', or if the image depicts an incomplete version, but with recent anime movie hits like 'One Piece Film: Red' and 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond' clocking in at around two hours, it is possible 'Black Clover' will follow suit. With an approximately two-hour runtime, 'Demon Slayer: Mugen Train' was another great success, suggesting that this length may be a new industry norm for the Anime genre.
