In 1994, Newton reportedly dated her ‘Interview with the Vampire’ co-star Brad Pitt. Their love story and affair started on the sets of the movie. The then-22-year-old actress played the role of Yvette who is a vampire's victim, while Pitt portrayed the character of Louis. Newton and Pitt dated each other for a year but then called it quits. They both are still great friends in real life.
Oliver Parker aka Ol Parker
Newton married Parker in 1998. He is a director, producer, and screenwriter. He has written and directed the 2018 musical ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’. Newton and Parker share three kids together -- Ripley, 21, Nico, 17, and Booker, 8.
Even though the actress rarely spoke about her personal life, but in an old 2011 interview for Instyle Magazine, she said, “We are very different characters but very good friends. After her divorce from Ol Parker, it was reported that Newton was back in the dating scene. In 2022, she was photographed by Daily Mail with the rising musician Elijah Dias aka Lonr, 25. She was seen sharing a passionate kiss with her rumored beau in Malibu. Lonr is famous for his hit song ‘Make the Most’. Newton was not seen with her wedding ring back then.
According to Page Six, Lonr in his interview with The Post said, “From the relatively short time I’ve been fortunate to spend with her, I know Thandiwe and Oliver care deeply about the welfare of their children. That’s all I care about right now.”
