'Westworld' Season 4 on HBO: Evan Rachel Wood was once described as 'one of the best actresses of her generation'
After a two-year hiatus, Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy's dystopian sci-fi series 'Westworld' is returning to HBO with a new season. In true Westworld style, the series creators have not disclosed the plot but have only revealed a cryptic description for the new season that says "A dark odyssey about the fate of sentient life on earth."
Many cast members will make return appearances in this potentially-final season including Evan Rachel Wood. She stars as sentient android Dolores Abernathy for which she won a Critics' Choice Award and earned Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominations. Her character Dolores had sacrificed herself at the end of season 3, but the trailer for the new season revealed that she will return. However, the showrunners of 'Westworld' have confirmed that Dolores who died in the Season 3 finale really is dead. Instead, Wood will play a new character named Christina, living in a city that looks a lot like New York and who’s friends with new cast member Ariana DeBose’s yet-to-be-named new character. Scroll down to learn more about the star.
