Each season of 'Welcome To Plathville' has proved to be quite the emotional rollercoaster. The family is a far cry from the version fans remember back in Season 1. With Micah, Moriah and Ethan finally out of the house, and Kim and Barry getting a divorce, a lot seems to be going on in Season 4.

This season, Kim seems to be struggling to get the family to see her side of the story. However, the kids seem to sympathize more with Barry in this situation. Even Ethan, who was previously estranged from his parents, is now finally at a point in his life where he is ready to make peace with his father.

While Ethan and Barry sat down, hoping to have a conversation with each other, Ethan addressed the fact that maybe they aren't as in tune with their feeling the way Kim and Olivia were because it was a feminine tendency to be aware of the same. Barry seemed to be on the same page, however, fans found it ridiculous that either of them seemed to think that way. "Ethan needs help realizing feelings aren’t feminine and he needs to learn how to express them otherwise his marriage isn’t going to work #welcometoplathville" said a fan. "Ethan, normally I'm rooting for you and I'm sure you have a lot to still unlearn but knowing what your emotions are and recognizing them in others isn't "feminine." #WelcomeToPlathville" added another.

But, apart from this, both Ethan and Barry seemed to be able to finally have a real conversation, with Barry admitting that he shouldn't have been so standoffish in previous situations and Ethan thanking him for not coming to Moriah and Olivia's concert and respecting their boundaries. Barry even told Ethan that he was proud of him, which certainly seemed to mean a lot, seeing that Ethan opened up about how he had never heard his father say that before and even acknowledged the fact that his grandfather probably never said it to him. It looks like Ethan and Barry are truly ready to move on to a new chapter and fans were glad to see their progress. "Okay…this lunch with Barry and Ethan is really sweet. It is weird that I’m starting to like Barry?! He’s finally acting human! #welcometoplathville" said a fan. "Ethan goes to show it doesn’t matter how old you are, a boy always needs his father. #WelcomeToPlathville" said another. "Look, Barry is a weirdo, don't get me wrong. But I don't think Barry was really the problem with the Ethan/Olivia thing. I think Kim was the driving force with that. Barry might not have liked it, but I don't think he was have flown off the handle like Kim. #welcometoplathville" added another.
