'Welcome To Plathville' Episode 3 preview: Kim and Barry worry about Olivia influencing their children's lifestyle

Kim is not too fond of Olivia's lifestyle and it seems like she is having a hard time trusting her with the rest of her children.

Kim and Barry Plath are all set to enjoy their 22nd anniversary as they decide to head out of town to celebrate the occasion. However, their celebration is interrupted as they worry that leaving the children with Olivia and Ethan may not have been the wisest decision that they made.

Olivia and Kim have had their differences ever since Olivia became a member of the family by marrying Ethan. The pair have expressed their discomfort with each other's choice of lifestyle countless times throughout the show and it seems like Kim is holding that against the idea of letting the children spend time with the pair.

As expected, Olivia decided to let the Plath children have a taste of freedom as she and Ethan took them out for shopping and try out new things. The Plath children have never had a soda, sugar, or had the chance to explore life outside their 55-acre land and by spending time with Ethan and Olivia, they had the opportunity to go beyond their land. Even though the Plath children seemed excited to spend the day as Ethan and Olivia do, they were worried about how their parents would react to it. As expected, it did not fit well with Kim that Olivia decided to do everything that they wouldn't have.

However, Olivia was quick to address the issue and stated that she thinks of the world in a different way than Kim and Barry and it was important for everyone to accept that to maintain peace and harmony within the family. The tension between the two seemed to extend to other members of the family as their recent disapproval of each other's lifestyle meant that the family was going to be divided into two.

While the Plath children try their best not to pick sides, it doesn't look like the feud and differences between Olivia and Kim are getting over any time soon but will this mean that the family will be heading in two separate directions?

'Welcome To Plathville' airs on Tuesdays at 10 pm on TLC.
