WARSAW, POLAND: The battle for survival for the Kurc family in Hulu's 'We Were the Lucky Ones' continues to get more intense with each new episode.

The series is based on the true account of a Jewish family who struggled to survive the horrific Holocaust.

The latest episode of the show offered insight into Halina Kurc (Joey King), who is attempting to protect her parents, Sol Kurc (Lior Ashkenazi) and Nechuma Kurc (Robin Weigert).

As the situation for the Jewish community worsens, Halina attempts to save her parents, but is she successful?

Recognizing the danger to her parents, Halina successfully sends them to the Pionki Gunpowder Factory, located 60 miles from Warsaw, after fabricating their identities. However, she understands the urgency of getting them to safety before the situation worsens.

During the process, she decides to relocate them to a safe house. Despite encountering a few obstacles along the way, she bribes a factory security guard and leads them to a family's house.

Despite the family's constant fear of being captured, they openly revealed that the Blue Police had already conducted two raids.

The family also made it clear that Sola and Nechuma must retreat to a concealed location in their room, in case of the raid. Halina assures the family that nothing will go wrong and bids farewell to her parents.

As Halina departed, it became evident from her expressions that she remained uncertain and was concerned for the safety of her parents, considering the heightened severity of the executions.

A grim fate awaits ahead for Sol Kurc and Nechuma Kurc

Halina, who is portrayed as a courageous and determined daughter from the beginning of the series, is aware of the jeopardy that her parents face and takes decisive action to save them.

Her understanding of the situation and her willingness to go to great lengths for her parents' safety speaks volumes about her bravery.

Additionally, she recognized that her parent's employment in the factory did not constitute a lasting resolution, and she bravely compromised her safety to rescue them.

However, Halina's body language continues to convey her uncertainty regarding her parents' safety.

Nevertheless, the mention of the Blue Police in the episode hints that circumstances may not unfold as happily as anticipated.

As portrayed, with the Blue Police having conducted two raids on the residence already, there's a looming threat that if they strike again, Sol and Nechuma might be apprehended, further exacerbating the situation for the Kurc children.

Additionally, it's worth noting that Halina has a semblance of awareness regarding the danger, suggesting that she might consider altering their destination or finding a more secure location for them.

Overall, it will be intriguing to see Halina's next move, given that her parents appear to be stable for the time being. Will she attempt to join them in their concealment, or will she help them find a more secure location?
