LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: DC Universe and its director have been making a lot of headlines lately, especially for their choices and statements. James Gunn recently said "Henry Cavill wasn't fired, just not hired," which safe to say made fans made more uncontrollably. Now, Mr. Gunn and his partner, Peter Safran just announced ten big projects which will take the DC Universe to another level or so they say. However, previous DCEU movie director, Zack Snyder's fans seem to be really unhappy with these current decisions and so they started revolting.

Regardless, Gunn and Safran have unveiled the first part of their slate. It’s a combination of big, well-known heroes along with lesser-known characters who may just become big, like the once-obscure heroes of Gunn’s 'Guardians of the Galaxy' films over at Marvel Studios. Starting from projects like, 'Creature Commandos' to the new 'Superman' movie. Before audiences get to those films and series, however, there is a matter of this year’s crop of movies, starting with 'Shazam! Fury of the Gods,' coming March 17, and continuing with 'The Flash' (June 16), 'Blue Beetle' (Aug. 18), and 'Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom' by year's end.

James Gunn's DC Studio announcement

“Storytelling is always king. That’s all that matters to us,” James Gunn, the co-CEO of DC Studios said Tuesday as he announced a new slate of film and TV projects that will be part of the next eight to 10 years of comic book content from Warner Bros. Discovery. “So as many of you know, DC has been disconnected in film and television for a long time,” Gunn said in the video posted on Twitter. “And it’s one of our jobs, mine and Peter’s, to come in and make sure the DCU is connected in film, television, gaming, and animation that the characters are consistent, played by the same actors and it works within one story.”

"James Gunn can call them gods but the second Snyder does it it's bad right?"

Fans started revolting against the plans majorly after a few minutes of the video being posted, be it Snyder or Cavill fans. Safe to say, they were really unhappy with Gunn. A fan asked, "So, Superman & Lois gets to stay because "it's a show everybody likes", but Zack Snyder can't return, even though his fans easily comprise more than half the bulk of DC fandom?" A fan said, "Awesome so now we know who to blame. I'm glad he doubled down on the fact that it was him making the worst decision a DC creator has ever made," while another wrote, "Idc what anyone says, this is still my Superman." A fan tweeted, "I still don't Understand why Snyderverse can't be in a elseworld if James Gunn already said there are going to be else worlds storylines then why not snyderverse can be in." Lastly, a fan shared, "So james gunn can call them gods but the second Snyder does it it's bad right? F**k off with this hypocrisy."
