'We don’t want this!': Fans slam Patrick Dempsey and Addison Rae-starrer slasher film 'Thanksgiving'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After recently securing a deal with TriStar Pictures, a division of the Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group, director Eli Roth's much-anticipated slasher 'Thanksgiving' is now being filmed, according to the Sony Pictures Twitter account. The movie will be released in theatres on the same day as 'The Hunger Games: A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes'. Although the 'Hunger Games' film series has a history of being successful at the box office, 'Thanksgiving' may give moviegoers a nice alternative with a spooky experience. However, fans appear to be unenthusiastic about the upcoming film.
The film will be based on the 2007 mock trailer for 'Grindhouse' created by Eli Roth. The script is written by Roth and Jeff Rendell, and produced by both. Patrick Dempsey and Addison Rae play key roles in the movie. Thanks to Spyglass Media stepping in to finance the project, the film is now actually in the works.

Fans question another project
Even if it meant having 'Deadpool's Tim Miller take over as director on the reshoots for his video game adaptation 'Borderlands', Eli Roth leaped at the chance to get the movie made. However, 'Borderlands' official release date has not yet been determined. Fans have plenty to ask about 'Borderlands' with significant projects on the horizon.
