LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After the two Guardians movies and 'The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special', Marvel is set to release the potentially final installment of the James Gunn directorial story arc of the MCU. The movie is set to introduce the High Evolutionary and Adam Warlock. One of the most anticipated Marvel movies of the year, a new poster for 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3' has been released, but fans aren't exactly enthused.

'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3' stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Dave Bautista as Drax, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Bradley Cooper as Rocket (voice), and Vin Diesel as Groot (voice). The movie also stars Chukwudi Iwuji as The High Evolutionary and Will Poulter as Adam Warlock.

The new poster

'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3' is expected to say an emotional goodbye to the unlikely family of the guardians. It has also been teased that the upcoming threequel is set to explore the scarring background of Rocket and the love of his life, Lylla, during their time as test subjects in the laboratory. As 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3' is nearing its theatrical release, the newly released poster carries the words "Filmed for IMAX."

'Deep fried guardians'

After the new poster emerged, one fan commented, "The Guardians posters have been some of my favorite in the MCU, but I'm just not feeling the ones for Volume 3." Another wrote, "Other than that one kinda badly photoshopped one they’re using as the main poster for some reason I don’t think there’s been a bad poster for this yet although I am dreading the potential floating heads." One fan mentioned the effects of the poster by writing, "Deep fried guardians."
