Spoilers for 'Warrior' season 2 episode 5 titled 'Not for a Drink, a F*ck, or a G**damn Prayer'

It wasn't too long ago that both Ah Sahm (Andrew Koji) and Young Jun (Jason Tobin) patted each other's backs for being smart at having procured opium from a local source in order to increase their margins. They were proud of the fact that they had managed to sideline the Company of Six and without the knowledge of Father Jun (Perry Yung) at that. However, all of this joy and pride don't last too long because of Leary. While Leary (Dean Jagger) had not intended to bomb Penelope's (Joanna Vanderham) factory, considering how closely it was associated with the Mayor, he had the support of Penelope's sister Sophie (Celine Buckens) - and that's how he managed to pull off bombing a factory that was otherwise believed to have been protected by Hop Wei.

Sophie also divulged information about the layout of the factory which helped Leary. However, by bombing the factory, not only did Leary manage to scare the local business owners who hire cheap Chinese labor, but he also wiped out the entire supply of Ah Sahm and Young Jun's opium that was kept hidden in the factory without Penelope's knowledge.

Of course, Penelope is informed by her employee Jacob that they found opium in the basement along with the bodies of two boys and that is when she realizes how completely Ah Sahm had managed to betray her. She casts him out and that leaves Ah Sahm nowhere to go but to Young Jun and tell him the truth. Of course, Young Jun being who he is, ends up getting anxious and even tells Ah Sahm that father Jun is going to punish them by beheading them. That's when Ah Sahm convinces him and tells him that they will speak to their local source again and set up a supply to ensure that they don't delay delivery. He also has to convince his contact about the money that would be needed to acquire as much molasses as the Hop Wei tong would need. Just as he comes up with the plan, Hong ends up joining the discussion and says, "I'm in". Both Ah Sahm and Young Jun are befuddled by the actions of the junior-most trainee, and initially try to brush him off. That is until they learn that this young man is not as dumb as he seems.

Instead, he narrates, "Sounds like you started scoring molasses off the book from a local supplier to boost your margins but your shipment just got fried and now you don't have the chop to replace it. You take more chop Father Jun will notice, you're fuc**ed. If you don't, you'll miss deliveries and Father Jun will notice, you're fuc**ed. All roads lead to some kind of major fuc***ry."

He then explains that he wants to help and when asked why, he says it is because the two of them stood up for him even when they didn't have to. He appreciates the same, especially since he is ill-treated by his compatriots only because he loves men. So after understanding his reasoning, Young Jun says, "This onion is batsh** crazy." But this batsh** crazy guy might be the one to pull the two of them out of a tough spot.

This, of course, doesn't mean that we trust Hong completely considering he is after all one of the warriors sent by Company of Six on Father Jun's request.

'Warrior' season 2 episodes will be aired on Cinemax every Friday at 10 pm ET.
