Spoilers for 'WandaVision' Episode 5

'WandaVision' brings with it numerous speculations. And the Marvel miniseries popped up enough of them with Episode 5. Should we look past the Pietro Maximoff entry, the realization that Vision has about things that are wrong with Westview, and the general absurdity the episode projects, Captain Marvel fans rejoiced when Carol Danvers was heavily name-referenced in the episode, and this led to theories if the superhero and the latest entrant to the Avengers would make a quick re-entry to the earth.

Technically, she can, but in all probability, she won't. It does appear all isn't well between Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Carol as the expression on the former's face when Captain Marvel is mentioned actually says a lot. While we don't exactly know what went down between the two, it does appear Maria Rambeau's (Lashana Lynch) death may hold some connection. Of course, we can suggest this might be a storyline in 'Captain Marvel 2' or 'Ms.Marvel.'

'WandaVision' Episode 5: What crime did Captain Marvel commit? Monica Rambeau doesn't seem too pleased with her

Again, this of course is just wild theories, but it is a possibility that we may not really see the cosmic superhero anytime soon. Our money would be rather on Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) or since Pietro is now in the MCU, then maybe either Magneto or Professor Charles Xavier. This also brings us to suggest the topic of relationships. The show is more than just Wanda and Vision, as Monica plays one of the key roles ibn the series, Carol and her relationship surely have a backstory, we just don't know what it is.

That said, did anybody notice that Maria was called, Maria Photon Rambeau in the episode? Now Monica from the comics has superpowers, does this mean Parris's characters might? Again, plenty of questions, but no actual answers. It's just 'WandaVision' things.

What are your thoughts on a Captain Marvel cameo? 'WandaVision' Episode 5 is available for streaming on Disney+.
