SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: When it was announced that network TVING was going to host an actors' retreat and broadcast as a fun eight-part variety show, fans were ecstatic, to say the least. However, that excitement among fans grew further when it was revealed that the variety show, 'Youth MT' also known as 'Young Actors' Retreat' will feature the main cast of three of the very popular K-dramas from recent years. With the show premiering on September 9 with its first two episodes and a third episode for the variety show having been released on September 16, there is a lot more chatter about the variety show while fans are swooning over two popular, young actors — Park Bo-gum and Hwang In-yeop (In-youp).

The variety show, 'Youth MT' stars most of the main cast of the 2016 K-drama, 'Love In The Moonlight', the 2020 hit, 'Itaewon Class' as well as the 2022 Netflix show, 'The Sound of Magic'. Big names like Park Seo-joon, Ji Chang-wook, Park Bo-gum, Ahn Bo-hyun, Kim Yoo-jung, Hwang In-yeop, Chae Soo-bin, and Kwon Na-ra among others. These actors appear on the show as regular cast members and fans claim that the fun actor interactions have had healing properties to all the problems of the world. The fourth episode of 'Youth MT' will premiere next Friday, September 23 at 4 pm KST (3 am ET).

Plot of 'Youth MT' aka 'Young Actors' Retreat'

The variety show, 'Youth MT' aka 'Young Actors' Retreat' is a new Tving travel show featuring a big gathering of actors from 'Love in the Moonlight', 'Itaewon Class', and 'The Sound of Magic'. Since the three shows were produced by PD (producing director) Kim Sung-yoon, the maker has invited his actors on a refreshing retreat. The title Youth MT refers to Youth Membership Training and refers to how people go on a retreat and hang out with other people who have similar interests as they hang out together, play games, and take time to bond with one another.

After all the actors were divided into three teams under the leadership of Kim Yoo-jung, Park Seo-joon, and Ji Chang-wook in the first episode, the cast played a game of hide and seek where the leaders were tasked to find their teammates hiding in different places related to the filming locations of their own dramas. Next, the actors arrive at base camp in Boryeong. Then the members are mixed up and the teams are rearranged into three different teams — Team Red led by Kim Yoo-jung, Team Yellow led by Park Seo-joon, and Team Blue led by Ji Chang-wook.

The three teams compete in games with the prize being dinner that night. The third episode continued off from where they left off in the last episode. This time, it was Team Red who was the focus of the episode, and the interactions between actors Park Bo-gum, Kim Yoo-jung, and Hwang In-youp had fans swooning.
