'Tough as Nails' Finale: Murph, Danny or Myles, who will win the champion title and take home $200,000?
Spoilers for 'Tough as Nails' season finale
Myles V Polk, Kelly 'Murph' Murphy and Danny Moody showed that they are the toughest contenders on the show as the three made their way into the final three. Unfortunately, only one of them can take home the title of 'Tough as Nails' champion along with a $200,000 cash prize and a truck. Throughout the competition, the trio has shown that toughness comes in all shapes and sizes.
Danny and Murph have managed to win one individual challenge while Myles has won two. Even though all three of them have had a taste of winning a task, the biggest win for them was in the latest episode (September 2) of the show. Host Phil Keoghan was keen on finding out the message all three of them wanted to give the world. Myles revealed he wanted people to know that one should never doubt themselves. Motivating people to take a leap of faith, Myles encouraged people to believe in themselves. Danny, on the other hand, stated that one should never judge a book by its cover.
Stating that he managed to stand next to two tough contestants, Danny hinted that one should have the confidence to take on anything. Meanwhile, Murph revealed he wanted people to know that veterans have the ability to perform anything. While the three impressed the viewers and cast members with their thoughts, the competition was just getting started.
Phil revealed that this competition was going to be the toughest one they had faced so far. The trio had to complete six tasks to have the win in their bag. The first task had them knocking down a wall with a hammer. The second task involved the members taking haystacks and putting it on top of each other to make stairs. Once done with this, the third task was untangling chains that were on a staircase. This was followed by a task where the cast members had to nail a spike on wood and attach the chains to its spike. The next task had the trio cut six pieces of wood and once done, they had to remove the bolts off a screw and put wood in its place to create stairs for them to reach the truck.
The trio knew it was going to be hard but they were not ready to give up. Danny got ahead in the game as he used his fast speed to make his way through different tasks. Meanwhile, Myles and Murph did not hold back and decided to fight it till the end. While Danny was in the lead, Murph fought back and managed to take a lead. In the end, Murph fought through the pain and extortion as he finished the task. He was crowned as the 'Tough as Nails' champion and took home a truck and a cash prize of $200,000.
The season finale of 'Tough as Nails' aired on September 2 at 9 pm ET on CBS.
