In the very first challenge of the show, the blue team wasn't able to present a perfect dish, but will it be a reason for their elimination now?

Bravo's 'Top Chef Houston' is back on the screens with another season of bringing together a group of super-talented chefs with extraordinary culinary skills. These chefs will be competing together for grabbing the crown of the Top Chef Houston along with a massive amount as a grand prize.

'Top Chef Houston' Season 19 is set in Houston. Fifteen of the country's best chefs will fight for the championship by innovating with Houston's most popular meals. Everything will be bigger and better in 'Top Chef'' Season 19. Prepare to watch these talented men and women rush around the kitchen, bumping into each other, cooking up a storm and striving for the prestigious title of the best. The start of the show was good for some and worse for others. Padma Lakshmi will return as host and judge. She will be joined by head judge Tom Colicchio, as well as Gail Simmons. Like last season, the show will include an “elite rotating judging and dining panel” made up of only Top Chef alumni.

In the first challenge, the contestants were distributed in a group of three to prepare a sweet dish. However, it was a bit hard for them to pair up and plate out the best dish without communicating and knowing each other. Blue Team with Ashleigh Shanti, Sam Kang and Luke Kolpin made an awful impression in their first challenge. They presented an empty plate without any dish disappointing the judges and the viewers. Now the question arises will this mistake lead them to elimination, and one of them have to pack their bags, or will they be able to save themselves?

On the other hand side, the yellow team won the first challenge, including Jo Chan, Buddha Lo, and Jae Hung. They stole the show and the challenge by impressing the judges with their dish. In addition, they also had a plus point of getting a bonus point. After the first challenge, the contestants were given another chance to prove their talent and culinary skills in the elimination round. All the contestants were seen working in the same group they performed the first challenge with earlier. The teams were provided with different cow beef and the yellow team had it as a bonus point to opt for their choice of meat. Now we only have to wait and see as to who wins this round.
