You might be in lockdown, but don't worry there's enough to watch on television to keep your boredom at bay. From romantic dramas and thrillers to animes, there's a lot to binge-watch. Animated shows like 'Star Trek: Lower Decks' are airing this week, along with a slew of foreign dramas, coupled with docuseries, and period drama shows like 'The Alienist'.

Here are our top ten things to watch on television for the coming week. 

'Star Trek: Lower Decks' on Thursday, August 6

For the first time in 46 years, 'Star Trek' gets an animated series in the form of a comedy. 'Lower Decks' comes from Rick and Morty writer Mike McMahan and chronicles a group of low-ranking crew members aboard one of Starfleet's least important ships, the USS Cerritos. The voice cast includes Noel Wells, Jerry O'Connell, Tawny Newsome, Eugene Cordero, Dawnn Lewis, and Jack Quaid. A second season has already been ordered. The show will air on CBS All Access.

'Made In Italy' on Friday, August 7

Liam Neeson stars in this feel-good family drama, where luckily for him, no one has been taken hostage. The official synopsis for the film reads, "A bohemian artist who travels from London to Italy with his estranged son to sell the house they inherited from his late wife." The film will release on VOD (Video On Demand). 

'Being Reuben' on Friday, August 7

The documentary series follows Welsh 14-year-old Reuben de Maid as juggles being an international make-up influencer and being a teenager. Check out the documentary on CW at 9 pm.

'Pan y Circo' on Friday, August 7

Narcos: Mexico's Diego Luna shows his versatility on Amazon Prime Video. Appearing as himself in a new issue-driven conversation series titled 'Pan y Circo' (Bread and Circus), Luna gives a fresh touch to the talk show genre. He mingles discussion with culinary arts, with each episode beginning in the kitchen when the chef, who made the dinner, kicks off the conversation topic. 

'Love On Harbor Island' on Saturday, August 8

Get yourself a feel-good family drama fix with 'Love on Harbor Island'. According to IMDB, "Interior designer Lily returns home to help her Aunt Maggie run her marina-side bed and breakfast when she meets Marcus, a handsome seaplane pilot whose work delivering rescue dogs helps Lily discover that home really is where the heart is." The film will air on Hallmark at 9 pm. 

'Surviving Jeffrey Epstein' on Sunday, August 9

The two-night, four-hour documentary directed by Anne Sundberg and Ricki Stern features stories about eight survivors of Epstein's alleged sex trafficking scheme. It will air on Lifetime at 8 pm.

'Game On! A Comedy Crossover Event' on Monday, August 10

'Game On' (Netflix)

Cast members from Netflix sitcoms 'Family Reunion', 'The Big Show Show', 'Mr Iglesias', and 'Ashley Garcia: Genius in Love' will appear in each others' shows in this four-episode special.

'Valley of the Gods' on Tuesday, August 11

As per the official synopsis of the film, "John Malkovich stars as the world's richest man (opposite Josh Hartnett as his biographer) in this stylized drama from Lech Majewski." The film will release on VOD. 

'(Un)Well' on Wednesday, August 12

Netflix's docuseries '(Un)Well' will take viewers on a journey through the lucrative wellness industry, which is about health and healing.

'Five Bedrooms' on Thursday, August 13
