'The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon': Emilia Clarke reveals the culprit behind the famous Starbucks cup in 'Game of Thrones'

Emilia who played the role of  Daenerys Targaryen on the famed HBO show is not in favor of everyone blaming her for the infamous Starbucks coffee mug appearing on the screen.

'Game of Thrones' fans, worry not, as the answer to everyone's nightmare was answered by Emilia Clarke when she made an appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' on Wednesday night.

Emilia who played the role of  Daenerys Targaryen on the famed HBO show is not in favor of everyone blaming her for the infamous Starbucks coffee mug appearing on the screen. When the series aired with season 8, episode 4, 'The Last of the Starks' fans and viewers were stunned to see the Starbucks coffee mug make an appearance after the production team failed to spot it and remove it.

In the scene, we could see Daenerys sitting alone at the table where the cup was placed, hence that's why when her co-star Sophie Turner appeared on the show earlier, she implicated that it might be Emilia's. But Emilia cleared the air on Wednesday night revealing that it wasn't hers but it was her co-star Conleth Hill's.

Revealing the truth, Emilia said, “Here’s the truth. We had like a party before the Emmys recently, and Conleth [Hill], who plays Varys, who’s sitting next to me in that scene, he pulls me aside and he’s like, ‘Emilia, I’ve got to tell you something. I’ve got to tell you something, love. The coffee cup was mine!’ It was his! It was Conleth’s coffee cup. He said so.”

Continuing, Emilia said, “He’s like, ‘I think so, I’m sorry darling, I didn’t want to say anything because it seemed [like] the heat was very much on you. And I was like, ‘What?!’"

Clearing the air that it might not be him because no one knows for sure she said, “He might have been drunk, but he said it.”

'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' airs everyday only on NBC. Check your local listings for more information.
