In the episode, ‘Ninth Girl’, LAPD’s head of press, Blake Sullivan (Adelaide Clemens), became the topic of discussion among fans. As we see her getting closer to Mayor Buddy Gray, fans are having second thoughts about her intentions and possibly her loyalty to the department and Chief Abigail "Tommy" Thomas (Edie Falco).

The mayor has been visibly hitting on Sullivan for a while, trying to get her attention. The agenda is not clear yet. It could be genuine flirting (considering he is going through a divorce) or he could try to make her the mole in the department, so she could report every activity back to him. After holding onto their opinions for weeks now, fans are not staying quiet.

One fan on Twitter says, “The mayor is using tommys press agent. shes going to be his little mole. #Tommy."

In Episode 6, when Sullivan speaks out loud about her feelings (without disclosing the name of the mayor) to her colleague, Ken Rosey, a fan gets irritated and comments,
“What is her dumbass doing? throw her off #tommy.”

Blake Sullivan is a very significant person on Tommy's team. After all, she is the face of the department and manages all possible PR crisis that LAPD faces on a daily basis. And she does quite a good job. Sullivan is efficient and smart, but there has always been an air of mystery around her.

From the very beginning, her actions have been a little suspicious but so far fans weren’t sure where that is heading. The closer she and Mayor Gray get, it worries fans that she will do something bad to Tommy and her department, and it will not end well.

“Now Blake let's talk about how you need to stop this inappropriate communication with the Mayor #TommyCBS #Tommy,” says a fan, looking at her recent behavior with Gray.
Reasserting other fans’ thoughts, one user says, ”#tommy I’ve gotten so tired of this disloyal tramp!”

So, can we start considering Blake Sullivan to be a trouble?

‘Tommy’ airs every Thursday night at 10 pm/9c, only on CBS.
