NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today's beloved hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager had a hilarious response to a viral TikTok video on the Saturday, October 7, episode, as the duo discussed the clip where a person questioned, "What did people do before they could look things up?"
This came after Kotb attended Fort Hunt High School’s 60th anniversary celebration alongside her daughter, Hope.
She candidly spoke about being a "late bloomer" during the school reunion and received a grand applause from the audience. She said, "The other thing I learned in high school was it’s okay to be a late bloomer. All of the best things in my happened after 50."

During a recent ‘Today’ episode, Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager reacted to a viral TikTok video of a girl questioning people from the older generation about how they got around before technologies like Google existed.
In the video, the girl is heard saying, "This is a genuine question to like older people. What did you do before you could look something up? Like if you saw someone, and you were like, ‘Oh, you remind me of that actor, what was that? What’s his name?’, and you couldn’t and none of your friends knew, would you go to the library?"
She added, "And like, OK, without Google Maps, like, I know that there was MapQuest, but before that, like genuinely, what would you do? Would you just accept not knowing?"
Kotb quickly responded, "Yeah. Here, here girl. That’s it," while loudly clapping, as both hosts said, "We just said we don’t know."
With an overwhelming expression on her face, Kotb stated, "And guess what? We kept living our lives," and Hager agreed, responding, "It was crazy!"
"You know what else we had to do? We had to use our brain to figure things out, like follow a map," cheekily added Hager.
Kotb again had a hilarious response as she noted, "We had to pull into the gas station, and say, ‘Hey, I’m sorry, Which way is Elm Street? Is it this way? Or is it left?’ You know what you did? You had an interaction. We interacted. Talk to somebody."

Hager then went on to talk about recent technologies, saying, "We didn’t only depend on AI and machines. It was amazing," as Kotb questioned her, "How about when you couldn’t think of the actor?"
She responded to the question by herself, saying, "You know what happened? Three days later, you were sleeping, you woke up in the middle of the night and go, Tom Cruise! That’s how you, and then you called your friend in the middle of the night to tell them, it was Tom Cruise!"
Hager concluded, "The other thing is, we didn’t need everything so instantaneously. We were satisfied. We were OK," while she and Kotb waved their hands hysterically.
