NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ host Dylan Dreyer recently threw her script, in mock frustration, at co-host Al Roker as the weatherman continuously embarrassed her on live TV.

The incident occurred during a recent episode, in front of Dreyer’s 90s crush Mario Lopez, who made an appearance on the show.

On the show, Dreyer reportedly admitted that she used to dance to the theme song of ‘Saved By The Bell'.

While discussing various topics on the show, Access Hollywood’s Lopez also discussed what to expect from this year’s Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lightning on NBC, his long career in entertainment, and his family holiday traditions.

Why did Dylan Dreyer throw the script at Al Roker?

Mario Lopez made an appearance on ‘Today’ to discuss various topics, including fatherhood, his Christmas traditions, and upcoming projects.

The actor joined ‘Today 3rd Hour’ hosts, including Al Roker, Sheinelle Jones, Craig Melvin, and Dylan Dreyer.

Following a conversation about his Walk of Fame star, the hosts shifted the discussion to Lopez's iconic role in ‘Saved by the Bell'.

Roker asked him, “Did you think you'd still be talking about Saved by the Bell?"

Jones chimed in adding, “35 years later.”

Lopez responded, “I couldn't believe that because it was a show for little kids. So I never thought that."

After this, Dreyer admitted, “I was one of them.”

"Right," Lopez chuckled.

"I don't know if I - No, I can't do it, but I had a whole dance to the opening theme song," Dreyer shared with Lopez.

"Well, what's up? Let's see the dance! Let's see the choreo!" Lopez exclaimed.

"Oh no. I was jumping over couches," Dreyer explained. "I was a lonely child. There was a whole thing."

Roker interjected, "You have to remember parents were watching with their kids."

He then paused and drew attention to the fact that the theme song was playing in the studio.

"Come on! Come on! Come on!" Roker encouraged Dreyer to dance.

"I don't really-," she hesitated.

"Here's your chance to dance with Mario Lopez," Roker teased. "Please," Dreyer exclaimed, throwing her papers at Roker in mock frustration.

Lopez assured her, "Next time," while Jones laughed.

Meanwhile, Melvin apologized to Lopez for the playful chaos in the studio.

Roker again added, “One more chance.”

To this Lopez said while patting Dreyer on the back, "I love Al. Next time.”

Where was Dylan Dreyer?

This came after Dylan Dreyer was absent for the day, a fact that Sheinelle Jones mentioned at the beginning of the show.

"Dylan is still making her list and checking it twice as she does every Thanksgiving Day," the 45-year-old host explained.

"And I'm not kidding, like she literally has… well, you guys have seen it," she said to Al Roker and Craig Melvin.

"Oh yeah, that handwritten note? It's epic," Roker remarked.

"Handwritten, spiral, all the things," Jones added.

She then seamlessly transitioned back into the broadcast.

Meanwhile, Dreyer used her day off to update her followers on Instagram. She shared a photo of two full pans of stuffing she had been busy making for the holiday.
