NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ host and author Jenna Bush Hager and guest host Willie Geist were recently dumbfounded after guest Ice-T made an NSFW joke about his wife Coco on-air.
On Monday, September 13, ‘Today with Hoda and Jenna’ segment, the usual host Hoda Kotb was absent from the NBC show and was replaced by Willie Geist.
While Hager and Geist welcomed Ice-T on deck as the day’s celebrity guest, they asked him some questions during the show’s 'Sip or Spill' segment.
What did Ice-T say about his wife Coco?
During a recent ‘Today’ episode, Jenna Bush Hager was joined by Willie Geist for a segment ‘Sip or Spill.’
In that segment of the show, guests are encouraged to reveal personal secrets that might be of an embarrassing or intimate nature.
One of Hager’s inquiries centered on the secret nicknames that Ice-T and his wife, Coco, use for each other.
"Oh my God," Ice-T exclaimed with a pause as he contemplated the question.
He continued, “What are my nicknames, what do I call Coco? I think I got the basic one, Boo Boo.”
"Oh, she calls me Big Daddy," he confessed, causing Hager to repeat the nickname, and the crowd responded with an "oohed" in unison.
"And I'm not that tall," he quipped, eliciting laughter from the audience. This revelation left both hosts visibly surprised by the innuendo.
"Wow, zinger! I love it!" Hager laughed. "Yes sir! Yes sir," Geist exclaimed with enthusiasm.
Ice-T, on the other hand, simply chose to take a sip of his drink in response after dropping that unexpected revelation.
