NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ host Sheinelle Jones recently had an embarrassing moment on-air. The 45-year-old host asked NBC producers to ‘go to commercial’ following a wardrobe malfunction mid-segment.

It all happened towards the end of the ‘3rd Hour’ segment as she asked the producers to not pan the camera on her stained shirt.

It isn’t the first time Jones has encountered something like this on live TV. Back in April, she revealed a stain on her dress while chatting with ‘Today’ Show Radio host Holly Palmieri.

‘Today’ Sheinelle Jones’ wardrobe mishap

On Wednesday, hosts Al Roker, Dylan Dreyer, Sheinelle Jones, and Craig Melvin welcomed comedian Jo Koy who visited the morning show to promote his new Broadway production, 'Here Lies Love', and his comedy world tour.

While he amused the hosts with his comedic personality, the performer showcased his spontaneous comedic flair towards the conclusion of his appearance on the daily TV series.

He playfully engaged with the hosts during the introduction of the upcoming Secondhand Shopping fashion segment.

As Jones began to introduce the forthcoming coverage of Secondhand Shopping, he light-heartedly teased her. He said pointing at Jones’s shirt, “She's got kimchi on her shirt."

Amid the exchange, Jones had discreetly covered her shirt with her script, even before Koy’s comment came into play.

Following his remark, she candidly confessed to having traces of the zesty pickled cabbage on her attire, quipping that “no one looked."

Koy humorously remarked on the situation adding, “You guys don't know how to eat here...you better get that shirt that they're giving away right now."

The T-shirt mentioned was among those slated for presentation in the upcoming segment, as revealed through soundless preview clips the producers aired.

Koy playfully encouraged Jones to embrace the comedic situation, urging her to proudly display her spotted shirt she’s “trying so hard to cover up."

At first, it appeared Jones might divulge her marked top, as she began to lower the paper she held in front of her. However, in an instant decision, she reverted to covering her shirt by placing the sheet of paper as a shield once more.

Amid the playful banter, Jones playfully called producers to “go to commercial”,with co-star Roker joining in by teasingly tugging at her arm, prompting her to consider unveiling her shirt.
