‘Today’ host Savannah Guthrie returns to show after reuniting with A-list actress friend at Taylor Swift concert
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ host Savannah Guthrie finally returned to the NBC show on Thursday after reportedly going missing for a few days.
Not only Guthrie, but her co-host Hoda Kotb is also enjoying her time off from ‘Today’ show while celebrating her 59th birthday with her family.
Guthrie updated her fans about her whereabouts through a series of photos posted on her Instagram. She revealed that she’s taking her time off to attend Taylor Swift’s concert in Los Angeles with her daughter, Vale.
While making forever memories with Vale, she also stumbled upon her good friend and A-list actress during the concert as she took to her social media to share her happiness.

Savannah Guthrie reunites with Mariska Hargitay
The TV personality was absent from ‘Today’ on Tuesday and Wednesday; however, she has returned for Thursday’s broadcast.
Before returning to the studio, she shared a bunch of snaps from her exciting getaway in LA, updating her followers and co-hosts what she’s been up to on her days off.
While posting adorable photos of herself with Vale, she also ran into some old pals and shared the surprise on her Instagram.
The 51-year-old posted a picture with ‘Law & Order’ star Mariska Hargitay, who played Detective Olivia Benson on the show. Guthrie captioned the post, “Miss olivia benson is a swiftie and has the bracelets to prove it!! loved experiencing the magic with @therealmariskahargitay.”
The duo captured the moment with two delightful selfies, each encapsulating a unique facet of their bond. In the first snapshot, they sprawled on the floor, proudly displaying their friendship bracelets. The second photo showcased them in what appeared to be a VIP tent or backstage area, radiating an air of camaraderie and adventure.
Hargitay also left a sweet comment on Guthrie’s post, “Loved every second with you!"
Guthrie sported a stylish shirt that boldly bore the inscription "Swift 89”, a clear homage to the artist they were there to celebrate, Taylor Swift. Meanwhile, Mariska opted for a distinctive 1989-themed shirt adorned with charming seagull motifs.

Savannah Guthrie is back on ‘Today’
After being replaced by beloved co-host Sheinelle Jones, Guthrie is finally back on the morning show. She joined Craig Melvin in the studio.
While away on Wednesday, Guthrie took a moment to connect with her followers and offer an explanation for her absence.
She posted a snap to reveal that she’s attending a Taylor Swift concert on the opposite side of the country, accompanied by her eight-year-old daughter, Vale. She captioned the post, “We are ready for it! @taylorswift.”
