‘Today’ host Hoda Kotb’s inspirational message

On Monday, August 14 ‘Today’ episode, Kotb finally made her presence on the show and hosted the ‘Today with Hoda and Jenna’ segment alongside Jenna Bush Hager.

While the duo was chatting and discussing other topics, Kotb wanted to share a powerful message with Hager and the viewers about turning 59 and how she portrays her 60s to be.

She said, “Life is a blink. Turn around what’s happening, watch the news. You’re here and then you’re not -Life is like that”. She continued, “You have to be in it. You can’t be regretting. I mean I was thinking what if I were 80 years old and God said to me, ‘You get to be 59 one more time, Go back!’”.

She further reflected on how she wants to feel being 59 exclaiming, “That’s what it would feel like, to be in this amazing situation. Sometimes I close my eyes and picture my life, how do I see myself in my '60s. And I actually feel so full."

Kotb continued, “I can see what my 60s will be like and I like what my life will be ahead.” “I don’t want to sit here and be like, oh, who cares, man? Who cares?” said Kotb screaming in enthusiasm.
