NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Today’s beloved host Hoda Kotb left her co-host Jenna Bush Hager and NBC producers astounded after going off-script and asking an NSFW question from guest Christopher Meloni.
Meloni is best known for playing NYPD Detective Elliot Stabler on the NBC legal drama 'Law & Order'.
On a recent ‘Today’ episode, Hager and the morning show producers gasped after Kotb asked Meloni a non-scripted question and had a laugh about it.
This comes after Kotb reportedly left the morning show midway due to family reasons as she took her daughters, Haley and Hope, on their first day to school.

Hoda Kotb asks NSFW question to Christopher Meloni
During the ‘Today with Hoda and Jenna’ segment, Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager welcomed guest Christopher Meloni and asked some really interesting questions from him.
"You're known for your super sexy commercials that you like to do," Kotb commented to Meloni during the interview. "We discussed it," Hager added with humor.
The topic of discussion was a certain Peloton advertisement showing the actor exercising in his house while undressed. "Is that real?" Hager inquired playfully.
"What part of real are you hoping to hear?" Meloni responded with a laugh, emphasizing that his bare body in the commercial was indeed real.
Kotb followed up with an intriguing question, "Are you a naked person?"
Hager could only muster an audible "Wow!" in response to Kotb’s inquiry. "Some people are comfortable being naked around their house. Are you?" Kotb elaborated.
Meloni provided a straightforward response, stating, "No." He clarified that he doesn't actually exercise without workout clothes.
Meloni further explained that he occasionally spices up interviews by giving different answers, as he often provides the same responses repeatedly.
"So, you don't really work out naked?" Hager sought confirmation. Meloni reaffirmed, "No," leaving the hosts "a little disappointed."
