NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: NBC’s American investigative journalist Vicky Nguyen arrived on the third hour of ‘Today’ show to take hosts Craig Melvin, Dylan Dryer, and Sheinelle Jones on a drive as she discussed manual transmission cars.

However, as Nguyen discussed this report on the makeshift car created by the ‘Today’ show, Melvin couldn’t help himself from teasing Jones as he sat behind her in this car.

From lifting the headrest of her seat to making bunny ears behind her head, Melvin did it all.

Eventually, Dreyer had to step in and ask him to stop the teasing, while Jones tried her best to keep her calm and focus on Nguyen’s report on manual transmission cars.

Craig Melvin remains distracted throughout 'Today' segment

“Vicky’s going to take us for a spin,” Sheinelle Jones began as she introduced the segment, and Craig Melvin, who sat behind her, was distracted already.

Melvin fiddled with the seat belt for a few seconds, before he finally let go of it and tried to focus on what Jones was saying.

As the segment began, Melvin couldn’t hold back his mischievous smile, and only a few seconds later, he adjusted the headrest behind Jones.

Jones looked back at him a little annoyed at this point, but didn’t say anything as Vicky Nguyen continued to talk about the car.

After that, the segment showcased Nguyen’s interview with American race car driver Ryan Blaney on the ‘Today’ show as the two of them took a real car out for a spin. Once the interview concluded, the viewers were back on set with Jones, Melvin, Dryer, and Nguyen.

Melvin looked evidently distracted for most of the segment, but he did chime in every now and then, and towards the end of the segment, he couldn’t help himself one final time.

As reported by The Sun, Melvin made some classic bunny ears behind Jones’ head as they closed the segment.

Dryer finally intervened this time as she gave Melvin a light slap on his arm for the same, and Jones laughed it off.
