NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ food contributor Elizabeth Heiskell joined the NBC's morning show family and clapped back at Carson Daly who mocked the guest’ with her accent.

During a recent ‘Today’ episode, Daly trolled the food contributor on saying the word ‘oil’ in her own accent.

As Heiskell appeared on ‘Today’ to show how to cook a pork tenderloin dish, the NBC family was seen savoring the dish towards the end of the segment.

This came after Daly recently announced an update ahead of ‘Barmageddon’ Season 2 tour.

The official Instagram account of ‘Barmageddon’ shared a poster with a tour date adding, “Mark your calendars! We're bringin' the fun and games to you! Come out, spin the wheel, and play some games! We throw a hell of a party. More details to come. #Barmageddon."

Also, Daly will be heading to Nashville to hold the event following the show’s new season.

‘Today’ Elizabeth Heiskell claps back at Carson Daly

Carson Daly and Elizabeth Heiskell collaborated to create a delightful weeknight dinner featuring pork tenderloin, complete with a delectable sweet glaze.

During their cooking endeavor, Daly lent his assistance to Heiskell in meal preparation and inquisitively inquired about the various ingredients being used.

The food contributor proceeded to focus her attention on the accompanying cabbage side dish.

She discussed the addition of both butter and oil to the cabbage, explaining how they would contribute to its caramelization.

However, due to her distinctive Southern accent, Heiskell pronounced "oil" in her unique style.

Daly, unable to resist, playfully mimicked her pronunciation, delivering the word in a teasing tone.

The other hosts enthusiastically joined in on the jesting, all in good fun, as they continued to mimic Heiskell’s pronunciation.

With a grin, Daly quipped, "I don’t know if I have that," adding to the lighthearted banter.

With a playful and good-natured tone, the cook retorted, “Let me tell you something, I'm from Mississippi, we use more oil than anyone on the planet, so we decide how to say it."

Daly graciously conceded to Heiskell, acknowledging her victory in this friendly exchange.

Carson Daly teases Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie

During a recent live segment on the ‘Today’ show, Carson Daly took a playful pause to rib Hoda Kotb in a light-hearted manner.

He jokingly suggested that Kotb refers to her co-host, Savannah Guthrie, as a "loser" in a particular activity.

In Thursday's episode, Daly reported his PopStart segment, which delves into the latest updates in pop culture. During his segment, he showcased a brand-new Walmart commercial promoting Black Friday.

The commercial had a special twist, as it featured a reunion of the ‘Mean Girls’ cast, who humorously parodied their iconic roles from the movie.

Introducing the topic, Daly declared, "Next up, Mean Girls, take a look." The audience was treated to a clip from the original movie, featuring notable characters such as Regina George (Rachel McAdams), Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan), Karen Smith (Amanda Seyfried) and Gretchen Weiners (Lacey Chabert).

In the clip from the original movie, Regina, Karen, and Gretchen were seen sitting in Regina's car. Regina playfully honked the horn and quipped, "Get in, loser. We're going shopping."

This prompted Kotb, to release a quiet chuckle and a lighthearted exclamation of "God."

Daly, always quick with a jest, couldn't resist teasing his co-host. He cheekily remarked, "That's how Hoda picks up Savannah," drawing laughter from the co-hosts. Playfully, he mimicked the line, "Get in, loser."

Amidst shared laughter, Daly proceeded to air the commercial, which included the participation of many original movie actors, offering a delightful and entertaining spin on the classic film.
