'90 Day Fiance' Season 8: Meet dancer Julia and farm boy Brandon along with 6 other couples of TLC reality show
TLC-backed '90 Day Fiance' Season 8 airs tonight and the viewers are in for a treat because the couples list is a healthy mix of old and new. This year, three returning and four new couples will come feature on the famed reality TV series to entertain the fans like never before. As per the format of the show, this season's couples will go on a similar journey of finding out whether or not they're a good match for one another.
Brandon, 27 (Dinwiddie, VA), and Julia, 26 (Russia)
Brandon first met Julia on a video call after his friend saw her go-go dancing in a club. They hit it off instantly despite their very different lifestyles. Julia, as mentioned is a city girl is a dancer at a club, while Brandon manages his parents' farm. Will they survive the differences? Time will tell. To date, the couple has had only happy moments to share. They dated five months and met once in Iceland before Brandon proposed and now Julia is ready to move to the US but the twist is they'd have to live with his parents for a while to save up and find a house of their own. How will this impact their relationship?
Jovi, 29 (New Orleans, LA), and Yara, 25 (Ukraine)
For Jovi meeting with Yara through a travel was nothing more than a hook-up but when they connected, there was an instant spark that helped them glide through the first six months of their relationship, which was spent traveling extensively. In this time, Yara got pregnant and they filed for K1 visa. Sadly, she suffered a miscarriage but that only strengthened their bond and commitment. Despite their solid love, Yara's mother worries if Jovi's outdoorsy approach will serve well for her and their relationship.
Stephanie, 52 (Grand Rapids, MI), and Ryan, 27 (Belize)
Theirs is textbook fairytale until doubts seep in. Stephanie is a businesswoman and has spent years establishing a successful spas, which explains why she has had no time for love until the day she stumbled on Ryan at a beach in Belize. From the moment they began chatting there was fireworks but soon her friends and family realized that Ryan was in it for the money and the support she provides him and his family. However, Stephanie has high hopes that he will mature with age.
Andrew, 32 (Roseville, CA), and Amira, 28 (France)
Andrew and Amira met on a dating app before he proposed in Las Vegas. Later, the couple filed for a K-1 visa, which was approved but the couple realized they would have to make tremendous efforts to get Amira to the USA due to Covid-induced restrictions.
Mike, 35 (Sequim, WA), and Natalie, 35 (Ukraine)
They are a returning couple from Season 7 of the series and it's surprising to see them come back but looks like they have stories to tell. Previously, it seemed as though they were falling apart and breakup was the only option they had left but it seems they will spent this year reflecting on those problems and find a way to love each other again.
Rebecca, 49 (Woodstock, GA), and Zied, 27 (Tunisia)
This couple made their debut in '90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days' Season 3, and also appeared in Season 4 of '90 Day Fiancé: What Now?' and this year they are planning wedding, which Rebecca feels is a bit rushed because he has set a timer on it. The trailer sees them arguing about the same and later Rebecca sharing how she has been having second thoughts about it.
Tarik, 46 (Virginia Beach, VA), and Hazel, 28 (Philippines)
They appeared in Season 2 of '90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days' and '90 Day Fiancé: What Now?' Season 3. They are engaged and she is now moving to the US to find out what's in store on the other side of the 90 days. She also plans on adding a girl to their relationship since she is bisexual, an aspect of her identity that had to be kept hidden when she lived in Philippines. How will this change things? We'll see how the stories unfold in a few hours.
