‘Dr Pimple Popper’: How bad is Felicia's 'unicorn bump'? Dr Sandra Lee says it looks like a 'nipple'
Dr Sandra Lee treated three patients whose skin condition cannot be more different from the other on the January 18 episode of ‘Dr Pimple Popper’ on TLC. One of them was Felicia with a “unicorn bump” on her head. The bump was quite squishy so it could either be a cyst or a lipoma.
The 47-year-old Felicia confessed that when she first saw a bump appearing on her head three years ago she couldn’t help herself from squishing it. Clear liquid dripped out of it and it went downhill from there. The bump kept growing and the skin darkened and got thicker. The darkening and thickening of the skin was self-damage as Felicia had squeezed her bump innumerable times.
Felicia is a struggling actor and tries to hide her unicorn forehead with wigs that have bangs. She confessed she takes pictures with the wig on to send it over to casting agents because if they found out about her bump they would never cast her.
Felicia’s mom told her the bump looked like a gunshot and she needed to get it removed. Felicia was concerned that if something went wrong, she wouldn’t be able to be on screen since it was right on her face. A viewer wrote, “Her mom said it’s starting to look like a gun shot. I say third eye.”
Dr Sandra Lee took a look at her bump and immediately knew that Felicia had fiddled with it. She said it’s called prurigo where the skin becomes dark after trying to squish it constantly. She compared the look of the bump to that of a nipple. She tweeted a picture of Felicia writing, “Like a unicorn!”

The surgery was particularly hard since the lipoma was nowhere to be found. Due to repeatedly squishing it, the lipoma went deep inside the skin. Dr Lee was able to find it and got rid of it. She said her lipoma looked like a “little shrimp”. Felicia responded, “it’s a circus up in my head.” Dr Lee tweeted a picture of the skin she had removed with the caption, “What i removed from Felicia.”
Dr Lee was able to remove most of the dark skin and the rest lightened with time. Felicia was no longer concerned and she could take pictures and audition for roles freely. Catch new episodes of 'Dr Pimple Popper’ on Mondays at 9 pm ET/PT.
