'90 Day Fiance' Season 8: Did Hazel undergo cosmetic surgery? Fans say she 'barely resembles her past self'
'90 Day Fiance' Season 8 is all set to premiere on Sunday, December 6, with a few returning couples and among them are 28-year-old Hazel Cagalitan and 46-year-old Tarik Myers. They first appeared on '90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' and fans are familiar with their backstories but this time they are in for a surprise as Hazel opens up about being bisexual and how she'd love to have a girlfriend in their monogamous relationship.
Interestingly, Tarik scrolls through a host of names on a dating app (possibly) to find Hazel a female love interest while she assesses them. Hazel said that she had to hide this side of herself when in the Philippines because of how the society is but America and the openness of its culture gave her hope and desire to dream differently, which is why she is now not shying away from expressing herself completely.
Hazel is a mother to an eight-year-old son, Harry, and was struggling financially before she got engaged to Tarik. In the sneak peek trailer, we see her being hopeful about bringing Harry to the states soon. Meanwhile, fans feel she has gotten some work done on herself and that she is looking drastically different from before. Some feel she now has breast implants, others have pointed out that her face appeared full, which could have resulted from a healthy weight gain.
"She looked better how she was omg," a fan commented on the show's official Facebook page, while another pointed out: "very dramatic change. Reminds me of the Khloe Kardashian transformation." "Hazels had a significant amount of work done. She barely resembles her past self," a user posted. "I literally thought he had found a new woman. She was not recognizable at first glance," one viewer shared.
Meanwhile, an account by the name of Tarik Myers commented on the same thread that Hazel gained a little bit of weight and never got any cosmetic procedures done. "Ok let me shut this down now. Hazel has never had any cosmetic surgery at all. Ever. Not face, lips, breast or otherwise. She gained weight everywhere. Enjoy the show." However, at this point there's no way to confirm if it's Tarik's original profile or just another fake account on the site.
