'Titans' Season 2 Episode 7 will see Bruce Wayne return to guide Dick Grayson as mysterious enemy haunts older team

The synopsis for the episode hints at a strange force giving the old team reminders of their past sins.

'Titans' Season 2's sixth episode took a bit of a detour from the main plot to introduce audiences to Conner Kent/Superboy (Joshua Orpin) and his trusty canine companion Krypto. That story ended with Conner rescuing Jason Todd/Robin (Curran Walters) from certain death, only to be shot with kryptonite bullets by Mercy Graves (Natalie Gumede), who has already managed to capture Krypto.

In Episode 7, it looks like something creepy is coming for the older Titans. The synopsis for the episode hints at a strange force giving the old team mysterious reminders of their past sins, which sounds a lot like the plot of 'I Know What You Did Last Summer.'

This enigmatic enemy might have something to do with Slade Wilson/Deathstroke (Esai Morales), who is still at large and his latest attack is bound to leave an impact on all the Titans, especially Jason Todd and Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites). According to the synopsis for the seventh episode, Jason is going to get some help from Deathstroke's daughter Rose Wilson (Chelsea Zhang) in dealing with the trauma of his close encounter with death.

We may be getting closer to seeing Dick take on his Nightwing identity but he's going to need some guidance before that and who better to provide it than his mentor Bruce Wayne (Iain Glen)? Bruce is heavily featured in stills from the episode and will certainly be playing an important role in the story. After all, the episode is titled 'Bruce Wayne.'

Meanwhile, it looks like Koriand'r/Starfire (Anna Diop) will be taking an interest in Conner, possibly attempting to figure out whether the young half-Kryptonian clone is an ally or a threat while Dick goes after Deathstroke on his own (because that worked out so well the last time). The synopsis also hints that Dick is going to be haunted by an old familiar voice that may possibly belong to Jericho (Chella Man), the son of Deathstroke whom Dick supposedly got killed in the past.

Here's the official synopsis for the episode: "Tensions are running high at Titans Tower after their most recent encounter with Deathstroke. Kory attempts to learn more about Conner Kent, and Rose tries to help Jason cope with his near-death experience, while the old Titans keep getting mysterious reminders of a past they'd rather forget. As Dick sets out alone to track down Deathstroke, a familiar voice begins to haunt him – taunting him and attempting to guide him back to being the leader the Titans need. With all the strange happenings and Dick continuing to keep the team in the dark, both Jason and the Titans reach a potential breaking point."

'Titans' Season 2 Episode 7 will air on DC Universe October 18.
