Release date

Netflix released a trailer of its true crime shows lineup in which we were shown a still of 'Tiger King 2'. While an exact release date hasn't been announced, the show is expected to drop in 2021.

How to watch

Plot

Season 1 of the series focuses on the small but deeply interconnected society of big cat conservationists such as Carole Baskin, owner of Big Cat Rescue, and collectors such as Exotic, whom Baskin accuses of abusing and exploiting wild animals. Season 2 is expected to follow among similar lines as the limited information we have informs us of the show's return which promises just as much mayhem and madness as Season 1.

Spoilers

Baskin and Exotic had issues with Jeff Lowe and this tense relationship could be explored in the upcoming season. Lowe also admitted how 'Joe Exotic was his own worst enemy.'  Moreover, when the couple was asked if they feel Baskin killed her ex-husband, Lauren is quick to say, "Abso-f**king-lutely," to which Lowe added, "There's no question in my mind that she did it." Lowe and his wife Lauren are seen in the trailer playing with a baby tiger along with another woman. Shortly after, the clip shows police officers on their way to their property.  In a statement to PEOPLE, Walter Mosley, Jeff Lowe's attorney, said, "Jeff tells me to share with you to 'watch Tiger King 2 for the real story, not the story made up by a corrupt DOJ.'"
