We always knew that the Thanksgiving episode of the sixth and final season of ‘This Is Us’ would be emotional, but we didn’t expect to cry throughout the entire chapter. The series just saw the Pearson Family celebrating the occasion for one last time and everything happened after their reunion shook us.

Rebecca (Mandy Moore) wanted to have “the talk” with Kate (Chrissy Metz), Randall (Sterling K Brown), Kevin (Justin Hartley), and Miguel (Jon Huertas). During their conversation, she told everyone how everything is going to be done if her condition worsens due to Alzheimer’s. She revealed that Miguel would be taking care of everything if that happens and if by any chance, Miguel is not around, Kate would be the one who will be taking care of everything.

The house that Kevin is building for the entire family will have a separate room as well if the stage comes where Rebecca needs permanent care. So, those guys can live there. The “Big Three” were really emotional during the conversation and listening to their mother. The talk ended with Rebecca telling everyone that they don’t need to slow down their lives because of her and telling them to keep taking risks. The children responded with a “yes ma’am”. The entire scene made everyone emotional, including fans, and they could not stop praising Mandy Moore for that amazing scene.

Fans flooded the social media with compliments and said Mandy deserves an EMMY for her performance. One of the fans wrote, “Emmys Get Mandy’s Emmy award ready.” Another fan wrote, “Hand that woman an Emmy.” Meanwhile, another social media user said, “Can someone just send Mandy Moore the damn Emmy already?!”

On the other hand, fans also praised the writing of the entire scene and applauded the wonderful monologue by Moore.

“Now if that didn’t make you shed a tear. Anyone else needs to call their mother after that scene,” said another fan. “@TheMandyMoore crushed the family meeting! Even I said “yes ma'am”, said another one.

Another user said, “Kate was the right choice. Kevin makes emotional choices while Randall over analyzes everything.” Another fan wrote, “Mandy Moore has my eyes all leaky.”

The show will now be focussing on the life of the “Big Three” and the remaining episodes will give us a glimpse of how they lived their lives and moved ahead. There won’t be any breaks and the show will air new episodes for 10 straight weeks.
