Thanksgivings can be really sweet. The whole family gets together and enjoys an amazing dinner. However, it can end up being one of the most emotional nights of your life as well. The sixth and final season of ‘This Is Us’ just showed us the last Thanksgiving celebrated by the Pearsons and as we expected, it was full of cute and emotional moments.

The episode started with viewers getting a glimpse of a young Rebecca helping her mother during Thanksgiving dinner. A few moments later we see a newly married Rebecca (Mandy Moore) celebrating Thanksgiving and preparing dinner for the first time. On the other hand, the entire Pearson family has reunited for Thanksgiving this time around. Rebecca, Miguel (Jon Huertas), Tobey (Chris Sullivan), Kate (Chrissy Metz), Randall (Sterling K Brown), Beth (Susan Kalechi Watson), Kevin (Justin Hartley), and all the children have come to celebrate what might be their last Thanksgiving together.

Rebecca is having a hard time with her mother because she keeps on annoying her by nitpicking things. Meanwhile, Jack and Rebecca’s father know that they need to stay out of this if they want to come out alive. In the present scenario, Kevin tells everyone that he is going to build the perfect house for the Pearsons, just like their dad wanted. But Kevin and Miguel seemed to have some problems before the full family photo. However, the drama starts when they sit at the dinner table and Tobey feels that Kate is feeding their child too much and the genetics might make him fat as well. Tobey tells her that they both were “fat” kids and it was hell, so he’ll do anything to make them eat healthily.

Rebecca started “the talk” by saying how shocking it was for everyone to move after Jack’s death. It turned even more intense and Rebecca announced that if something worse happens to her, then it would be Miguel who would be taking care of everything. But if Miguel is not around, she chose Kate to take care of her.

She also told Kevin that Miguel was not talking about the guestrooms for his fishing buddies. He was saying it because if Rebecca needs permanent care, then those guys can live there as well.  The talk ended with Rebecca telling her children that this disease shouldn’t hold them back and asking them to take the risks. Randall, Kate, and Kevin responded by saying “yes ma’am”.

The episode ended with Kate and Rebecca talking to each with Rebecca telling her that she is her best friend and it was always her.

'This Is Us' Season 6 will return to NBC with a new episode every Tuesday at 9 pm EST.
