'The Young and The Restless' Spoilers: Are Abby and Chance pregnant? Elena's 'Nate date' almost gets ruined
There's a lot going on in Genoa City. On one hand, Nicks wants Phyllis to resolve her issues with Victoria and after much hesitation, she will allow him to speak with the Newman heiress over the hotel. Jill on the other hand tells her son Billy that she can't say in town to help him fight charges against him. Even Amanda expresses her disinterest in having a relationship outside professional matters in the wake of his arrest - something that causes a spat between his ex, Victoria, and her father, Victor too. But far away from drama surrounding the shooting, lovers unite in a date, and even farther away, at a resort's honeymoon suite. Here's what to expect on the December 9 episode of CBS' Young and Restless.
According to spoilers, Abby and Chance are already choosing baby names. One would argue their wedding was less than a week ago, but hey - when has that ever been an issue right? Dwindling in each other's arms, frolicking n the lush romance of a resort far away from Genoa City, the newly married couple discuss what life will be like for them once they return to the drama and commotion. With both being so actively involved in the prosecution of whoever shot Adam, it's understandable how much the newlyweds needed this time away. And in due course of their pillow talk conversations, the couple decides they will live in the Chancellor mansion.
Abby also mentions the last name topic and even though Chance doesn't have a preference, she says she wants to go all-in and become Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor. Speaking of names, what follows next is a string of suggestions for what to call their mini-me's, musing about having something else to celebrate in another nine months or so. There's no clear indication whether Abby is already pregnant, at this point it's just something they are wondering. Should there be a new addition to their family, Abby suggests Cary for a boy and Diana for a girl, which Chance of course adores, and the two spend time kissing over it.
Much closer home, however, Elena and Nate's date at Society turns to a near disaster when the two, already nervous, chance upon Devon at the venue. With encouragement from Lola, Elena is finally able to overcome her self doubt surrounding pursuing a romance after cheating on Devon. But all of that goes away when she carries to meet Nate at Society and the two settle in for their date which turns out to be pretty great actually. There is however a minor pothole they encounter; Devon turns up at Society for his takeout and spots the two seated at a table. Nothing goes down between the three of them as the couple resumes their date and Devon leaves with his food, inviting Amanda over to share. But Elena does find the courage to express she would very much like to go on another 'Nate date'.
Speaking of Devon, he also manages to piss of Lily by trying to warn her of the potential damage Billy could do to her. And the same happens for Victor, with his daughter, when he tries to use Victoria's kids as a reminder of why she needs to wash her hands off of Billy. If anything Lily and Victoria should bond or other men in their lives trying to ward them off Billy, but funnily enough, the two are busy pitting against each other currently.
The biggest game is however being played by Victoria as she agrees to Nick that Phyllis can have the hotel back, but immediately after the conversation tells someone on the phone that she is working on kicking the other woman out ASAP. As she hangs up, Victoria mutters 'Sorry, Nick', thus changing the chose game of cards in her favor again.
