After his onscreen romance came true, his offscreen one seems to have picked up as well - Neil Winters aka Kristoff St. John is engaged to his Russian model girlfriend Kseniya Mikhaleva. The actor, who is the star of CBS' 'The Young and The Restless' announced the happy news on Instagram over the weekend. "She said yes," the actor wrote along with a couple kissing emoji followed by a ring emoji.

He also shared two pictures of the gorgeous diamond ring, one sitting in its case and the other on his fiancee's finger. The square cut diamond ring had multiple smaller diamonds adorning the main rock, and coupled with Kseniya's baby pink manicure, the ring surely stood out!

Fans were very happy with the announcement. One user said, "I Love being in Love and when you see this, kind of Love, makes you more in Love!" Another said, "Aww. Y’all are so adorable in love with each other. Makes me want to believe in romance & fairytales again. 💕💕💕"

This is Kristoff's third attempt at true everlasting love - he has been married and divorced twice before. He was married to boxer Mia St. John and Allana Nadal from 2001 to 2007. He has two kids from his first marriage - Julian and Paris Nicole. From his second one, he has one daughter, Lola, who was born in 2003.

Kristoff took a break from the show last year to deal with a very personal loss. He returned to the show in April 2018 after dealing with the loss of his son, Julian, who passed away at the age of 25. Julian committed suicide on November, 2014, after a long history of mental illness after which the actor took a leave of absence to undergo psychiatric treatment after a scare regarding his mental health. The 51-year-old actor had been open about his battles with depression after the loss of his son.

On the show, Neil Winters is the legal father of Lily Winters, the adoptive father of Devon Hamilton, and the biological father of Moses Winters. Kristoff has portrayed the role of Winters since 1991.

Kristoff's character Neil hasn't been the luckiest in love on the show if you remember. His worst breakups were with Olivia and Drucilla, among the long list of many heartbreaks that he went through on the show. Recently, he's found love again in Ashley Abbott. Portrayed by Eileen Davidson, the show recently announced that she would be leaving the role of Ashley soon as she wants to spend more time with her family. She announced that she will leave 'The Young and The Restless' in September last year. However, we still don't know when the last episode featuring Davidson as Abbott will air. Fret not though - we know that multiple actors have played Abbott in the past so Neil should be good for now.
