What is the plot of 'The Wrong Life Coach'?

What's more stressful than a new job? A new boss! So when Tara takes over as head of Jordan's company, Jordan finds herself stressed out and anxious as workloads increase and Tara's leadership puts her under pressure. Eager to alleviate her workplace issues that are spilling over into her personal life Jordan decides to seek the help of a life coach. Enter Liz. So far so good for Jordan until it becomes apparent that Liz is more than just a life coach: She's a woman on a mission. But what is that mission? And will Liz's ultimate goal cost Jordan everything she has?

'The Wrong Life Coach' Main Cast

Allison McAtee

Allison has been on some of TV's most popular series, from 'Ugly Betty' and 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent' to the 'CSI' franchise and 'The Mentalist', but she is best known for her role as Maggie Day in the series 'The Haves and Have Nots'. She also starred in the miniseries 'Over Easy'. You can see her next in the chilling thrillers 'Breathe' and 'Shift'. She plays Liz on 'The Wrong Life Coach'.

Morgan Bradley

New Zealand-born actress and singer Morgan's breakthrough role was in the series 'Dirty Laundry' in which she plays Leisha. She went on to star in shows like 'The Food That Built America' and movies like the well-received 'The Recipe Files'. You can see her next in the upcoming miniseries 'Shortcomings' where she plays Lena and in the thriller movie 'Good Bad Things'. Morgan plays Jordan in 'The Wrong Life Coach'.

Vivica A. Fox

Stunning, talented and an absolute star, Vivica has been wowing us for decades, ever since her 1988 role as Carmen Silva on 'Days of Our Lives'. She then continued the soap trend and played Maya Reubens for 110 episodes in the series 'Generations' and Dr Stephane Simmons on 'The Young and the Restless'. But it was as Vernita Green in 2004's 'Kill Bill: Vol 2' that Vivica became a mainstream favorite. She followed up that role by playing FBI agent Nicole Scott in the series 'Missing' before playing Loretta Black on the cult hit 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'. Younger fans, however, will know her best as Candace on the hit series 'Empire'. She plays Tara on 'The Wrong Life Coach'.

Eric Roberts

To some Eric Roberts is simply Julia Roberts' brother, but to us, he's the superstar train that Hollywood failed to catch. Let's put it this way, in his long career, Eric Roberts has been in 684 series and movies! Yes, you read that number right. He was nominated for a Golden Globe in just his third role: His performance in 1979's 'King of the Gypsies', where he starred opposite Judd Hirsch and Susan Sarandon, earned him a nom for best acting debut.

In 1984 he played Paul in Bob Fosse's critically-beloved 'Star 80'. His performance in 'Star 80' would see him garner another Golden Globe nomination and a nomination for best actor from the New York Film Critics Circle Awards, and he would go on to win the Best Actor gong at the Boston Society of Film Critics Awards. But in 1985 he would star in what is by far and away his best film and arguably in the Top 100 films of all-time. 'Runaway Train' starred Eric Roberts, Jon Voight and Rebecca DuMornay and was a massive hit with the critics. The movie itself would be nominated for three Oscars (Best Actor - Voight, Best Supporting Actor - Roberts and Best Film Editing - Richardson). Roberts was set for superstardom...but then something went awry.

A series of bad movies saw his rising star turn meteorite. That's not to say it was all bad, he had excellent turns in the series 'Crash' and 'Heroes' and he sort of found a home on the soap 'The Young and the Restless'. But if anyone had forgotten his acting pedigree then he made sure it shone again in 2014's superb 'Inherent Vice' where he starred alongside Joaquin Phoenix, Josh Brolin and Owen Wilson. It also helped that in 2016 the Director's Cut of the much-underrated 'Silver Case' was released, finally revealing to the world the wonders of the cult classic. He's got 86 projects coming up so you will see him next...everywhere, and we're thrilled about that.

Is 'The Wrong Life Coach' worth watching?

Anything with Vivica A Fox, Eric Roberts and Michael Pare is worth watching (that's acting pedigree right there). And if the script and director can give the trio the tools this movie is definitely worth 90 minutes of your life.
