Lifetime's upcoming thriller, 'The Wrong Fiance' is one more addition to the genre, released by the 'Wrong' franchise. The film stars Vivica A Fox, Jessica Morris and Jason-Shane Scott in the lead roles.
The official synopsis of the film reads: "When photographer Abby (Jessica Morris) is sent out of town on a job assignment by her boss, Charlotte (Vivica A Fox), she thinks it is the perfect opportunity to get away from her nightmarish ex-fiance, Richard (Jason-Shane Scott.) Vivica A Fox
Born on July 30, 1964, Vivica A Fox, who was earlier seen in daytime television soap operas 'Days of Our Lives' (1988) and 'Generations' (1989–91), will be seen in a key role in the movie. She has also starred in films like 'Why Do Fools Fall in Love' (1998), 'Kingdom Come' (2001), 'Two Can Play That Game' (2001), and 'Boat Trip' (2002). After completing her second season on HBO’s Emmy Award-nominated hit comedy, 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' as the feisty Loretta Black, Fox guest-starred on Lifetime’s "Drop Dead Diva" and also in the Hallmark Channel Original Movie, 'Farewell Mr. Kringle'. She was also the voice of Angel Dynamite on Cartoon Network’s, 'New Scooby-Doo', In the world of reality, Fox hosted the TV Land Prime reality series, 'The Cougar' and teamed up with VH1 to executive produce and find the next great celebrity stylist in the reality series 'Glam God'.
Jessica Morris
Born on May 16, 1979, in Jacksonville, Florida, Jessica Morris is known for her portrayal of series regular Jennifer Rappaport on ABC's 'One Life to Live', she has cultivated her career as the leading lady in various television shows and independent films. Jessica starred in Lifetime TV's hit movie 'The Wrong Teacher' and has also had strong guest-starring roles on popular primetime shows, including Fox's 'Rosewood' and TNT's 'Perception'. She has recently recurred in episodes of Freeform's 'Party of Five' remake and will soon appear in 'The Upshaws' on Netflix. Morris’s acting credits include numerous films such as ‘Living Among Us’, ‘On the Horizon’, ‘Art of the Dead’ and ‘The Onania Club’.
Jason Shane Scott
Born on December 29, 1976, Jason Shane Scott is known for playing the character of Will Rappaport in the ABC soap opera 'One Life to Live'. Just like Fox, Scott has been a part of several movies from the 'Wrong' franchise, in addition to other Lifetime films from DeCoteau such as 'Snow White: A Deadly Summer' and 'The Pit and the Pendulum'.
The film will release on January 8 at 8 pm on Lifetime Movies.
