With the series premiering in a few days we had previously reported how two singers Dimash Kudaibergen and Daneliya Tuleshova from Kazakhstan made headlines for being fan-favorites even before the show could air.
Now, in addition to them, we have Filipino boy band TNT Boys, also known as 'The Big Shot Trio'. The band is made up of three pre-to early teenage boys who rose to fame after appearing and being finalists on 'Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids' a Filipino reality TV competition in 2017. Now appearing on 'The World's Best' the trio are not only loved by fans, but by the judges as well. So who are the TNT Boys and why are they a big win with the crowd? Here's the rundown.
After appearing on 'Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids,' the trio went on to break the national record of the Philippines for being the youngest performers to sell out a concert for their Listen: The Big Shot Concert at Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines, in November last year.
They have over 50 million views for their performances on Facebook and YouTube. Recently the social media page of 'The World's Best' released a clip of the boys performing on stage, and they had all the judges including Drew Barrymore gushing over them. "You know, I have a soft spot for kids. I was a kid performer, but I have kids now. This is a whole other thing. You possess a gift, you’re just that good," Barrymore said in the clip.
Apart from the judges, after watching the clip, fans couldn't handle their excitement to see the trio perform on stage. "We're excited to be moved by your performance, @TheTNTBoys! You are there for a reason. The world has to see how amazing you are. You're indeed one of the #WorldsBest!," wrote a fan. While another fan added, "Definitely! I can't wait to see them perform, Goodluck @TheTNTBoys we are here to support you!"
Fans are also happy, these boys, who are so young in age are also receiving such exposure. "The exposure #TNTBoys has been receiving in just the @WorldsBestCBS teasers bring tears to my eyes. So so so proud and extremely happy for @TheTNTBoys @TNTBoysOnline," a fan wrote.
While we gush on these kids, we just have four days left before the show premieres and until we see an entire performance of the boys and if they do end up winning the series. 'The World's Best' airs February 3, on CBS after the Superbowl. Check your local listings for more information.
