And ever since his win, Nadhaswaram has made headlines for his piano skills. From his audition with the 'Flight of the Bumblebee' by Rimsky-Korsakov to his blindfolded performance of the 'Turkish March' by Mozart and his finale performance of 'The Moonlight Sonata', he left many impressed.

In an exclusive interview with MEA WorldWide (MEAWW), Lydian Nadhaswaram spoke about performing on The World's Best stage, his plans for the future and how it feels to be the title winner of the series' first season.

Starting off, Nadhaswaram spoke about his future plans in music. "My next wish is to compose for a music album and to release it officially to the world. Then, I want to be a concert pianist and perform to all music lovers. Adding to the above, I would love to compose for animation movies for Hollywood and globally too. And as I already said, I would love to go to the moon and play music there," the mini maestro revealed.

Coming from a family of musicians, we asked Nadhaswaram who inspired him to start playing the piano and if he was nervous when he was playing on The World's Best stage. "My father and my sister are my first inspiration. I love them so much. Absolutely not. I was not nervous at all, rather I felt very happy to get such a stage to perform whatever I practiced at home for hours and hours. This was my dream stage, honestly." he said.

Apart from this, Nadhaswaram also revealed he is homeschooled so he can focus more on his music. Nadhaswaram started to play the piano just four years ago, and now he can play blindfolded and on two pianos at the same time. Revealing who taught him how to play and how long he took to master his finale performance, Nadhaswaram revealed, "To be very honest I just practiced to play on two pianos two days before the finale. My dad suggested me to play two pianos by seeing a YouTube video of a great pianist Hazel Scott a few months back. Finally, that idea helped me to play two pianos for the finals."

It is titled as the world's best; which my dad used to say every time I play music, that I will be the world's best one day. And now I am really happy to be the title winner of The World's Best."
