'The Wolf of Snow Hollow' is reportedly Robert Forster's final film before his death

In Jim Cummings's upcoming horror thriller movie, the supernatural fuses with crime as he races against time and hopes to find the truth behind some highly suspicious killings. Here's everything we know about the upcoming movie. 

Release date

'The Wolf of Snow Hollow' is scheduled to release on October 9, 2020. 

Plot

According to the official synopsis of the 1.23 hours horror thriller, "Terror grips a small mountain town as bodies are discovered after each full moon. Losing sleep, raising a teenage daughter, and caring for his ailing father, officer Marshall struggles to remind himself there's no such thing as werewolves."

An article on Deadline offers more insight into the movie's storyline, "A small-town sheriff is struggling with a failed marriage, a rebellious daughter and a lackluster department. He is tasked with solving a series of brutal murders that are occurring on the full moon. As he’s consumed by the hunt for the killer, he struggles to remind himself that there’s no such thing as werewolves."

Cummings wrote, directed and stars in 'The Wolf of Snow Hollow' as a small-town sheriff. The actor is known for his work on 'Thunder Road', which was based on his short film of the same name that won the Sundance Film Festival Short Film Grand Jury Prize and SXSW’s Special Jury Recognition for Acting Award. He's also known for 'The Robbery', 'Still Life' and 'The Handmaid's Tale. 

Chloe East as Jenna Marshall

19-year-old East is playing John Marshall's "rebellious daughter". The actress is best known for her work on 'Ice' and 'Kevin (Probably) Saves the World'.  She  started acting at 11 in the HBO television series True Blood. Her other credits include Jessica Darling in the film adaptation of Jessica Darling's IT List and Val on Disney Channel series Liv and Maddie

Lindhome is known for her roles on 'Garfunkel and Oates', 'Gilmore Girls', 'House', 'The Big Bang Theory', and for 'Another Period' alongside Natasha Leggero. She formed a comedy music duo with Kate Micucci named Garfunkel and Oates.

The late Oscar nominee is best known for his work on 'Jackie Brown', which earned him the nomination of the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. For his performance as Ed Galbraith on 'Breaking Bad', he won the Saturn Award for Best Guest Starring Role on Television. 'The Wolf of Snow Hollow' is supposed to be Forster's final role.  

The movie also stars Jimmy Tatro as PJ Palfrey, Annie Hamilton as Brianne, Skyler Bible as Officer Ray Guttierrez, Demetrius Daniels as Officer Chavez and Kelsey Edwards as Liz Fairchild.

'The Wolf of Snow Hollow' is produced by Matt Miller, Natalie Metzger and Benjamin Wiessner for Vanishing Angle alongside Kathleen Grace, Matt Hoklotubbe, and Michael McGarry on behalf of New Form. Nick Spicer and Pip Ngo will be serving as executive producers on behalf of XYZ Films.
