A global pandemic has held the world in its grip and people are sitting in their homes, looking for any possible entertainment till this dies down. And as lucky as it sounds, a host of television shows and films are coming our way. One of them happens to be a fun animated film called 'The Willoughbys'. Nothing like a cute animated film to lift your spirits, isn't it? So this April, get ready to cheer yourself up with some mushy, animated characters.

'The Willoughbys' will release on Netflix, on April 22.
Plot details
The official synopsis reads: "Four siblings with horribly selfish parents hatch a plan to get rid of them for good and form a perfectly imperfect family of their own." However, they learn the hard way that raising themselves isn't the best idea, so they set off to find the true meaning of family, while the Department Of Child Services hot on their trail. The film is based on the children's book of the same name by Lois Lowry.

Will Forte
Will Forte will voice the character of Tim Willoughby. The actor is a cast member on 'Saturday Night Live', and has also created 'The Last Man On Earth'. He has worked as a writer on 'The 70's Show' as well.
Martin Short
Martin Short plays the role of Father Willoughby. He has starred in films such as 'Three Amigos', 'Father Of The Bride', 'Pure Luck' and 'Captain Ron'.
Alessia Cara
Alessia Cara, who plays the role of Jane Willoughby, is a Canadian singer and song-writer. Cara has received nominations for four Grammy Awards, including a win for Best New Artist in 2018.
Ricky Gervais
Ricky Gervais voices the cat, who is the narrator as well in the film. Gervais is an actor, comedian, and writer, best known for co-creating, writing, and acting in the British television series 'The Office'.
Terry Crews
Terry Crews is best known for playing the role of Terrence Jeffords on 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine'. Apart from that, he has appeared in films such as 'Friday After Next', 'White Chicks', 'Idiocracy', 'Blended' and the 'Expendables' series.
