There's no stopping the undead and in the decade since the zombie apocalypse began, the survivors have not found a way to end the zombie threat, but instead have learned to live with it. 'The Walking Dead: World Beyond' introduces us to the future of a world beset by the undead and presents a group of teenagers who have grown up knowing nothing of the world that came before. What their life is like and what will happen to them in the course of the show's events will change them forever.

One of the biggest questions of the show's pilot episode is this: will we find out what happened to the survivors of the main 'Walking Dead' series? In the comics, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) left behind a world-renowned legacy in a country that had all but eradicated its zombie threat. However, the series has apparently veered away from any hope of that ending, as the threat of zombies appears to be alive and well, leaving us all to wonder just what happened to the survivors of the original series.

With Season 11 of 'The Walking Dead' revealed to be the last one, there are a lot of questions for what happens after, questions that 'World Beyond' is in a unique place to answer. However, the show might just stray away from making too many references to the original series in order to carve a name for itself and avoid comparison. Nevertheless, eagled-eyed fans are sure to be keeping a close eye on the first episode of 'World Beyond', because if there are to be any references to the legacy that the show that started it all, it's sure to be mentioned in the series' debut.

The official synopsis for 'The Walking Dead: World Beyond' titled 'Brave' reads: "Iris welcomes an enigmatic ally to their community, while Hope questions the visitor's motives; a message upends the sisters' world view, forcing them to decide between the safety of their home and the uncertainty of the world beyond."
