'The Walking Dead' Season 10 Episode 13: Michonne is captured by unknown forces, reveal preview images

Danai Gurira's final episode of 'The Walking Dead' is just around the corner and it seems like she's going to be put through the wringer before she exits the show. Preview images for 'The Walking Dead' Season 10 Episode 13 'What We Become' are here and they do not bode well for Michonne (Danai Gurira).

The images show Michonne with Virgil (Kevin Carroll) exploring an unknown location. The synopsis for the episode reveals that Michonne will be taking Virgil to his island to reunite with his family, so perhaps that's where these scenes are set. 

One of the images shows Michonne seemingly locked up in some sort of cell with a tray of food in front of her as if someone is keeping her prisoner. It's unlikely that she's been captured by the Whisperers but whoever her captors are, they're bound to be bad news.

The trailer for the upcoming episode also has some ominous teases, including Virgil cryptically saying "The island is not clear. It was until the others came." These "others" are probably the ones who have captured Michonne but who they are is something we'll have to wait and see.

The last episode of 'The Walking Dead' was pretty intense with some major bombs dropped like the death of Alpha (Samantha Morton) at the hands of the ever-treacherous Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and most of our heroes scattering after a devastating attack by the Whisperers.

Here's the synopsis for the upcoming episode: "Michonne takes Virgil back to his mysterious island to reunite with his family; in exchange, Virgil promises weapons that could change the tide of the Whisperer War."

The cast for 'The Walking Dead' Season 10 includes Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon, Danai Gurira as Michonne, Melissa McBride as Carol Peletier, Christian Serratos as Rosita Espinosa, Josh McDermitt as Eugene Porter, along with Seth Gilliam, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Ryan Hurst, Samantha Morton, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Callan McAuliffe, Eleanor Matsuura, Cooper Andrews, Nadia Hilker, Cailey Fleming, Cassady McClincy, Lauren Ridloff, Thora Birch and Dan Fogler.

New episodes of 'The Walking Dead' Season 10 air every Sunday at 9 pm ET on AMC.
