UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: On December 18, Mara Justine made a comeback to the 'The Voice' stage, delivering a passionate performance in her quest for victory. Nevertheless, social media buzzed with comments branding her performance as "boring" shortly after.

Mara introduced the first ballad of the night, 'Turning Tables' by Adele. She stated that when it was confirmed that she would be attending the finals, she sobbed so hard that the makeup professionals said they couldn't repair her makeup.

Mara possesses a beautiful voice, and her talent is widely appreciated, particularly for her seamless transition from a soothing rasp to an enchanting falsetto.

The song allows her to change the pitch of her voice, which she does brilliantly.

On Reddit, fans asked, "Ok Mara’s performance is kind of boring for me too for the finale…anyone else?"

Another user wrote, "Mara's fake crying is annoying."

A user further wrote, "All of her emotions come off so fake and I don’t know why!"

One person commented, " She comes off so fake, so over the top..idk. lol."

"Every emotion seems exaggerated," wrote another.

One person also noted, "I’m just wanting to compare to Adele and Adele does this song much better. I wish Mara didn’t have such a rasp for this song."

On X, A fan argued, "Adele did this song at the same age. Some singers just don’t touch their music. Not her best performance."

Another person added, "She is so fake. She wasn't good enough for AGT or American idol and when she does not win this show, where will she show up next and take someone else's spot who deserves it more???"
