Who is Zae Romeo? Texas singer on 'The Voice' gets 4-chair turn after performance Nick Jonas dubs 'spiritual'
The premiere episode of ‘The Voice’ Season 20 saw contestants like Victor Solomon, Dana Monique, Cam Anthony, Pete Mroz and a few others getting the chair-turn from the coaches in order to clear the blind auditions. However, it was only Kenzie Wheeler who could manage to impress all the judges after getting the only four-chair turn in the first episode. In Episode 2, we saw another contestant named Zae Romeo who pulled-off this rare feat.
The Voice’ Season 20 returned with the judges namely Blake Shelton, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson. Nick Jonas made his deserving comeback on the show replacing Gwen Stefani as the judge on the big red chair. Carson Daly, like always, took care of the hosting responsibilities. Speaking of Zae Romeo, the young artist performed the cover of Harry Styles’ hit single ‘Falling’ for his blind audition.

Who is Zae Romeo?
The 21-year-old singer from Texas wowed all the judges with his stellar performance on the ballad 'Falling' by Harry Styles. Kelly Clarkson was the very first to turn around her big red chair quickly followed by Blake Shelton. Nick Jonas did not waste his time as well as he looked completely floored by Romeo’s performance.
After carefully listening to his song, John Legend was the last to rotate his chair. Left completely impressed after his performance, Kelly said, “I love your voice” and teased him, “And that's why I turned around first and led all these boys to what they should do.”
Blake asserted, “What a unique voice you have. Such an awesome and daring vibrato that allows your voice to be as tender as you want it to be.” Speaking on the same lines, John added, “This is why we do this show, to work with special people like you, who have a real, beautiful gift and artistic flair.”
Nick Jonas dubbed Romeo’s performance as “spiritual”. It will be interesting to see who Romeo picks in the end as his coach. Zoe Romeo hails from McKinney, Texas, and describes himself as a pop artiste. The Afro-Latino crooner also loves photography.
