Episode 5 of ‘The Voice’ Season 20 kick-started with a powerful performance from a contestant named Savanna Woods. She completely succeeded in impressing the judges with her energetic husky voice. The talented crooner from Stanwood, Washington covered The Cranberries' legendary song ‘Zombie’ and took it a notch higher with her exceptionally well skills on the guitar.

It seemed Nick Jonas was floored with her performance as he was the very first coach to turn around. Looking at the singer’s performance, it seemed Kelly Clarkson will turn around her big red chair soon but she waited till the end and Woods was glad she did. John Legend and Blake Shelton did not turn their respective chairs at all till the very end.

Who is Savanna Woods?

Savanna Woods got praised by Kelly Clarkson for her creepy vibe as she told the contestant that she herself loves the creepy vibes and joked that it could get weird sometimes. Kelly Clarkson might have turned around at the very end but it was clear Woods was going to pick her and unfortunately Nick Jonas had to face the disappointment.

Savanna Woods hails from Pacific Northwest and has strong musical roots in the family. The versatile crooner penned her very first song at the age of three and grew up performing alongside her father and sisters. She might not have dropped her music officially but she keeps her social media active with her originals. If we look at her Instagram profile, it is very evident she loves to travel and guess what, she has been to 25 countries so far.

‘Savanna Woods gave me chills’

As soon as Savanna Woods’ performance ended, ‘The Voice’ viewers rushed to Twitter to discuss her performance. Speaking on the same, one user stated, “Savanna Woods gave me chills! Loved her rendition of Zombie.” Another added, “Let’s Go Savanna Woods, world traveler, with the very intimate opening, good breathy quality with a natural rough edge. So cool. Rocking it out! She showing power and range. Beautiful ending, great arc.” One person thought picking Kelly as her coach was a wrong decision and said, “Eh, I think that was a wrong choice lol.” One user tweeted, “Oh i loved that!! savannah woods.”
