Chrissy Joly reminds us about the importance of never giving up, no matter what life throws at you. Despite her father abandoning her and her mother being unsure about her pursuing music, Joly stuck to her dream and made her way to the The Voice stage.

She started singing 'I need a miracle' but sadly there was no miracle as no chairs turned for the singer.

Many were upset and thought the judges made a mistake letting Joly go. One user tweeted, "#ChrissyJoly Chrissy, those coaches jacked up! Your smooth jazzy Carribean tone and rhythmic vibe was 'off the chain'!!! You are awesome!"

Competition is really tough this time around and even a singer as talented as Joly might not make it.

John Legend made sure to give Joly some good advice: to not give up and come back stronger. "@johnlegend #VoicePremiere hey Chrissy was good just needed your guidance," tweeted one user.

Some users even offered a bit of guidance, such as this tweet: "#ChrissyJoly your voice was great. I think you should've picked a better song with more range to showcase your voice."

Users poured in messages of support for Joly, asking her to come back again. "Sorry that you didn't make it #ChrissyJoly. Hopefully, you can come back next season and audition again. #TheVoice #VoicePremiere," tweets one user, and we couldn't agree more. With a voice like that and a passion and drive to follow her dreams, Chrissy Joly is a star just waiting to be born.
